Ride Committee
The Ride
Committee is made up of Chapter members who volunteer to research, plan, map out
and make arrangements for Chapter rides.
They are responsible for researching various destinations via the Internet or
printed materials and calling to make arrangements for group rate tickets or
seating arrangements at restaurants if needed. The Committee will also plan out
the ride route and rest stops for fuel and food as needed. Searching out the
road conditions via the ADOT web site and pre-riding the route when possible
will also be within the responsibility of the committee.
Prior to leaving the start location the Ride Committee will make sure that all
Ride Captains have maps showing the route to the destination.
All ride plans will be submitted to the Chapter Vice President for their
approval before being sent to the Chapter President for sanctioning.
Ride committee members will need to either be accessible to Chapter members by
either e mail or a publishable phone number.
